End of our Topic 'Under the Sea'

The Pirates did not return!!

However, something very big and scary did appear Under the Sea whilst we were walking through the sand.....

A SHARK!!!!!!!! RUN!!

We have learnt so much during our Under the Sea topic, and

had lots of fun too!

We're Going on a Treasure Hunt!!!!

This week the Nursery have been busy looking for treasure!!!

We have been learning lots of mathematical language in the process....

Did you know some scary pirates came to the Nursery??

 Aaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!!

They left their treasure map and golden nuggets!!!

The Nursery decided to go and find the treasure before the pirates came back.

First, we looked in the tyres.

Next, we looked behind the tree.

We looked under the potion table.

We were not having much luck!!!

After that, we went over the bridge and through the tunnel.

The treasure was UNDER THE BENCH!!

The golden nuggets tasted yummy and tasty too!

This was our version of the golden nuggets!

Even Mrs Foster had a nibble of the pirates golden nuggets!!!

CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS IN NURSERY!!!

We Celebrated Chinese New Year this week.

We listened to the Chinese New Year Story and even acted out the animal race.

'I am the clever rat and I want to win!!!'

We had a great race and had lots of fun.

Our parents joined us for our activity day.

We made dancing dragons.

We made Chinese Lanterns too!

 The children did a dragon dance with Miss Clarkson!

We even tasted Chinese rice crackers!

'They taste salty and crunchy'
