We had lot's of fun celebrating Diwali in Nursery!

We role played the Diwali Story of Rama and Sita.

The bangles were all mixed up and we had to sort them into colours and patterns.

My favourite colour is blue.

Ezana and  Miss Jabeen helped each other put the bangles!

Afrah wrote invitations for our Diwali party to give to Mrs Foster and Mrs Barnes too.

Everyone lit diva lamps when Rama and Sita came back from the forest.

We wore our bangles and bhindis to our Diwali party.

We decorated the Rangoli patterns with lots of glitter and sequins.

Ravan tried to take Sita away when she was helping the children with their mehndi patterns.

The children enjoyed following the lines on the mehndi hand patterns.

We tasted lots of different foods that are eaten on Diwali, they were so yummy!!
